Employment Opportunities with Kitimat LNG Inc.
The Kitimat LNG Terminal will position British Columbia as a leader in providing a low-impact, clean energy solution to help meet Pacific Rim energy demand in the 21st Century. One of the major benefits of the terminal will be the creation of up to 1500 jobs during the construction phase (three years) and up to 100 permanent jobs during operation.
During the construction phase, career opportunities will begin in 2009 with commercial operation expected to begin in 2014. Job openings for both construction and operation will include a wide range of job opportunities such as civil and chemical engineers; construction trades including boiler makers, welders, pipefitters and electricians; administrative staff and general labour.
